ArcoMage is a head-to-head spellbook duel between two wizards. There is no luck of the draw: your wizard always knows their book, so every spell you have prepared is ready when you are. You win by what you prepared and when you cast it, never by what you happened to draw.

No deck, no shuffle, no mulligan, no mana flood. Your entire book is open every single turn. Instead of drawing a random hand, you play from a fully prepared spellbook, so the duel rewards planning and timing rather than the luck of the top of the deck.

You build an 8x8 main book plus a 16-spell sideboard, then duel best-of-three, swapping spells one-for-one between games. It plays like a three-game chess match rather than a single coin flip, so adapting your book between games is part of the skill.

A neural net plays millions of games against itself and auto-balances every spell. If a spell is too strong, the system finds it before players do. The result is a game that gets fairer the more it is played: no power creep, no dead spells, and no banned list.

You can play the open beta in your browser for free. Backing the Kickstarter gets you beta access roughly three months before the public launch, plus founder rewards.
